About the Role

As an Account Executive at Steer, you will uncover new business opportunities, conduct product demos, and guide customers through a streamlined sales process from initial engagement to close—often within the same call. If you excel at overcoming obstacles, exceeding expectations, and are eager to be a vital part of a rapidly growing company, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a high volume of calls and online product demos.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS product and effectively communicate its value to potential clients.
  • Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using our CRM system.
  • Employ a consultative sales approach to understand prospects’ needs and tailor presentations accordingly.
  • Follow up diligently post-demo, navigate objections, build trust, and close deals to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • 3+ years of consultative B2B sales experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience in product demonstrations and consultations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in SaaS and the automotive industry.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines.

Interview Process

  1. Initial Screen: 30 minutes.
  2. Hiring Manager Interview: 30 minutes.
  3. Marketing Interview: 30 minutes.
  4. Career Journey Interview: 60 minutes, including a Sales Call Role Play Exercise.
  5. Reference Checks.
